| VOYAGER: Is there a
"philosophy of Wu?" MILLER: We're not the George Bush, Sr. kind of family values, but we're definitely all about family. We're from good homes and labelled our festival the Family Reunion because that's what folks are like to us. I think of my friends as family. When I see folks again and again and again, I know what's going on in their life. If the band was to end today, I would still have a lot of friends, and that's important. Being on stage and having people hoot and holler isn't that important. I can get through life without being on stage, but how are you going to get through life without friends? |

| VOYAGER: Will we see other musical family members turning up on your current tour? | ||||||
| MILLER: Oh, yeah. We played with the Allmighty Senators in Boston and we'll hook up again with them in Washington; that's their stomping grounds. We're also hooking up with Yonder Mountain String Band and I think we're trying to get Blueground Undergrass to a Family Reunion. "Reverend" Jeff Mosier is a real sweet fella. Maybe we'll see him at the Turniptown festival. Like I say, the stage is my living room, and its no fun watching the game alone! |
